ISBER welcomes the submission of abstracts in fields related to the use of environmental and biological repositories. Special consideration will be given to abstracts that align with the meeting theme of “Roadmap to Scientific Discovery”and the meeting topics of:
- Moving Science Forward/ Translating Impact Into Growth
- Ethics, Education, and Engagement: Including Under-Served and Vulnerable Communities in Research
- Sample Management and Biobanking Operations
- Biobank Informatics and Datafication of Biospecimens
- Biomarkers, Diagnostics, and Therapeutics

Abstracts should contain significant or novel scientific information. Product advertisements are not appropriate for presentation. Exhibitors and commercial vendors are invited to submit abstracts to the “Innovative Technology” category for selection into the Innovative Technology session at the meeting.
ISBER reserves the right to exclude abstracts that promote commercial interests inappropriately or are viewed as unethical in content. By submitting an abstract the author agrees that the research presented by this abstract has not and will not be presented at another national or international meeting prior to the International Society for Biological & Environmental Repositories.
All abstracts will be evaluated by a review panel utilizing a single blind system and accepted based on scientific merit and contribution to their area of science. Accepted abstracts will be selected for presentation at the International Society for Biological & Environmental Repositories as a poster or oral presentation and published online.
